Alliance for the Separation of School & State § 1071 N. Fulton Ave. § Fresno, CA 93728 § (559) 499-1776
An Overview of SepCon2004
|
Theme: |
Get the Kids Out of Harmful Schools
and Into "Honest Education"
|
|

SepCon2004 will help "build legs" under Dr. James Dobson's March 28, 2002 broadcast to millions. He implored parents to "get the kids out" of public schools that encourage harmful experimentation. His call for an exodus was echoed days later by Dr. Laura Schlesinger and the late Marlin Maddoux.
SepCon2004 will also build on the widely publicized attempt to pass a resolution at the June, 2004, annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention to urge Baptist parents to more their children from harm's way.
While SepCon2004 will pay extra attention to Christians, the "Get the kids out" message applies to alland it is our fundamental long-term strategy to eventually end America's dependency on school-by-government.
